The situation

It started in 2026 as Balfen Group, a fast one-page site showing a Malta contractor’s real jobs. After the rebrand to Nathan Fenech Concreting and a move to Melbourne and regional Victoria in September 2026, the business needed a brand, a site that wins local enquiries and a faster way to turn a job email into a priced quote. The rebrand, the new services and the switch from Malta to Australia took a couple of days, so the owner could focus on the move: the new site was live before the plane landed.

What was built

Where it startedBalfen Group: a single fast page in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript, showing recent jobs across Malta from roof screeds to kerb repairs.
The move, handledRebrand, refocused services and a new location turned around in a couple of days. The site had shifted to Australia by the time the plane landed.
Brand & websiteLogo and identity, and a five-page site structured for local search, with image weight cut by more than half.
Lead captureEvery enquiry is stored, emailed to the owner and given a reference. The old form had been silently dropping leads.
Quote-to-cash portalInbox, takeoff, pricing, quotes, jobs, staged schedules and progress invoices in one place, with a public quote-accept page.
Server-side pricingThe pricing engine re-prices every quote on the server and rejects totals that don’t match.
Security reviewHashed one-time sign-in codes with lockout, an allow-listed API and a stored-XSS fix.
